Douglas Lindemann, the Chief Information Officer at ArcBest Technologies, challenges listeners to earn the trust of their employees because it's not something you can mandate or buy. Whether you've gone through a merger and acquisition or just tried to onboard a new employee, you know the key to success is getting people to opt into the vision and process of the organization. Douglas knows firsthand that even as a CIO, the opt-in of the entire team makes new systems succeed or fail. This cowboy boot wearin' C-suite exec freely offers the lessons he's learned from the top, so you know what it takes to nurture teams that opt in emotionally with the organization's goals. And here's the deal, his advice is way bigger than the bottom line or keeping employees – it shows us how to lead like Christ.
